Hello, I'm Dr Erin Wright, the Director of the Alberta Sinus Centre. The treatment of sinus disease has made many advances in recent years; here at the Alberta Sinus Centre we aim to provide our patients with the advantages of these innovations along with current cutting edge medical and surgical therapies. The Alberta Sinus Centre is committed to providing you, our patient, with the most comprehensive care as the result of a collaborative approach to clinical and scientific research.

Services Available

Comprehensive Care for Patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis
The core of the Sinus Centre is the provision of comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and related inflammatory diseases of the nose and sinuses. Collaboration with other medical specialties such as allergy & immunology and respirology will augment this multidisciplinary effort.

Clinical and Basic Science Reseach

Through a collaborative research effort with the Pulmonary Research Group we hope to develop new insights into diseases of the nose and sinuses including chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyposis. It is hoped that these new insights will lead to translational research including new treatments. In addition, the Sinus Centre will provide an ideal setting for the delivery of cutting edge and novel clinical treatments and research efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of new therapies.

Advanced Surgical Care & Skull Base Surgery

The Alberta Sinus Centre specializes in surgical treatment of complex sinus disease including revision surgery, frontal and sphenoid sinus surgery, orbital decompression, and minimally invasive approaches to sinonasal tumours. Collaboration with Neurosurgery will enable minimally invasive surgical care for patients with disorders of the anterior skull base.
